Eco Schools
FCJS were delighted to receive our Eco Schools Bronze Award this term.
We have now developed our Eco Code and have now been awarded our Silver certificate!! We are on track to becoming a Green Flag school.
A detailed action plan has been drawn up to work our way to achieving Silver status by the end of July 2010. Our ideas include:-
- To develop an outdoor classroom in the old swimming pool area
- Reducing waste
- Reducing wasted energy - we even hope to get a wind turbine!
